Never underestimate the power of a cupcake
In addition to making wedding cakes and groom’s cakes, MallowDrama also makes cupcakes and custom cakes for all types of occasions and anyday treats.
Looking for a reason to enjoy a little cake? MallowDrama is participating in Cupcake Mission’s first annual, nationwide drive to raise money for The Michael J. Fox Foundation. For every cupcake you purchase on Friday, September 25th, MallowDrama will donate 50 percent of their proceeds to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. (There are a number of other bakeries around the country who are holding special cupcake sales as part of this event, too!)
Stop by At Play Cafe in Reston’s Hunters Woods shopping center (2254B Hunters Woods Plaza), between 10 AM and 7 PM, on Friday, September 25th to get your cupcakes. MallowDrama will offer 4 flavors of cupcakes:
Vanilla with Vanilla Buttercream
Chocolate with Chocolate Fudge Frosting – vegan
Mocha with Hazelnut Ganache
Cinnamon Spice with Apple Butter – vegan

Cake from Kelley & Curt’s Wedding
MallowDrama was delighted to make the wedding cake for Kelley & Curt’s celebration in Gainesville, Virginia, on September 12th.
And we had the pleasure of working with Myrna Grossman of For All Occasions, and fellow member of The Bliss Collection, who planned the wedding for the out-of-town couple.
The wedding had an elegant black and white theme that was carried through in the cake. The couple chose two flavors for their cake: lemon with vanilla buttercream, and chocolate with raspberry preserves and chocolate fudge frosting.
