How far in advance should I book a florist for my wedding décor?

The florist helps solidify the overall feel to your wedding. Talking to the florist is important after you have chosen your dress, bridal party attire, and venues. And, of course, having a planner who will aide in helping you book appointments with a few florists is key.

I have a close budget to work with, any suggestions?

For a wedding on a budget, focus on flowers rather than compromising on quality. Use one or two larger arrangements to anchor the room and go with something more simplistic on the tables.  This will add impact without spreading it too thin. Everyone can see and enjoy the impact pieces and still have décor throughout.
